Due to her role as alien/Earthling hybrid Elizabeth Maxwell on the series V from 1984-1985, Jennifer Cooke is still remembered as a sci-fi goddess—mainly to lucky young geeks who bought some of her stunning ’80s pin-up posters. She was only 20 when she started on the popular primetime show, but believe it or not, that was far from her first acting gig. The New York native actually started in commercials as a wee nine-year old, then graduated to playing kids in TV movies like Tom and Joann (1978) and Daddy, I Don’t Like it Like This(1978). She nabbed the part of Morgan Nelson/Morgan Richards in the soap opera Guiding Light in 1982, for which she won a nomination for Best Young Actress in a Daytime Series from the Young Artist Awards. Just before she broke out in V, she broke out in American flag pasties as Pam Bethlehem in the cheerleading epic Gimme an ‘F’ (1984), letting those flags bounce and wave while she enthusiastically seduced a fella. Just after she ended V, she ended her moratorium on nudity, and let her perky pair out for air in the “Man’s Best Friend” episode of the HBO TV series The Hitchhiker in 1985. Her character Eleanor Shephard strips down, and we get a lovely view of her breast from the side—it’s more than just a glimpse of side-boob, though, more like a 3/4 boob. Unfortunately, she’s interrupted by episode co-star Michael O’Keefe, and she grabs a towel to cover up the goods. For her last big-screen appearance, she played Megan, one of the rare females to survive a run-in with Jason, helping to (temporarily) kill off the killer in Friday the 13th, Part VI: Jason Lives (1986). Jennifer gave up acting in the mid ‘80s, to spend time with various projects—and to live it up with hubby Mo Siegal, the founder of the Celestial Seasonings tea brand.
